WRITING & TEACHING
Writing, teaching and public advocacy carry the realities of service beyond the room—and bring people into relationship with Israel and with the work of Gabby’s Place.
WHY IT BELONGS HERE
Gavriella’s writing is not commentary beside the mission. It is one of the ways the mission moves: telling the truth about life in Israel, making reservist families visible, teaching what mission asks of us, and helping readers recognize the work that is theirs to do.
Those essays, talks and conversations create commitment, community, partnerships and support for the whole work of Gabby’s Place.
Personal letters about Israel, Jewish peoplehood, grief, joy, responsibility and the daily work of becoming at home here.
Read and subscribeUsing modern Israel as a living laboratory, Gavriella teaches why purpose is the hidden architecture behind resilient people, innovative organizations and thriving cultures.
What Gavriella teachesInterviews and public conversations connect lived experience in Israel with the deeper questions of purpose, service, peoplehood and responsibility.

PURPOSE IN PUBLIC
Through the Israel Advocacy Group, Gavriella led a mission that brought people into direct conversation with Israel’s innovation, national security, healthcare, agriculture and public leadership.
The program included conversations at Google for Startups and MHealth Israel, and a public discussion—“Israel: Where We Are and Where We Are Going”—with former Ambassador Michael Oren and Gila Tolub.
That mission reflects the same approach at the heart of Gabby’s Place: help people encounter Israel honestly, understand their responsibility, and turn what they learn into meaningful action.
